In 2019, I graduated from Partners in Leadership, an advocacy program for self advocates and parents. Over the course of a few months, our class grew close to one another and on the last day we decided to do awards. My peers awarded me the title of, “Most likely to be the face of autism moms all over.” I thought that was so sweet. See picture to the right of my award. I have really tried my best to be involved in our community.

There’s a quote that says, “She leaves people better than she found them” and that is something I have always strived for but…. it isn’t all about me. There are so many incredible people doing great things in our community.
